First days in Greece

We decided to write something in English also because of our fans from foreign countries :-))

Greece is such a wonderful place! I cannot say how much I love it! People here are so nice and friendly! At the first day Nefeli and their parents picked us up from the airport and helped us to find our apartment and buy a greek card for mobile phone. They gave us 3 bags full of food, it was incredible! Nefeli is a girl from Greece. She was in Czech republic as Erasmus student. So she knows how important is to have someone for first days. They were so nice to us!

The flight was ... a good experience! :-D It was our first time of flying and we can say, that when the plane flies only straight, it is ok. But the lending (especially for me) was terrible! It is gorgeous how the earth  changes while you fly above it.

Our aim for the first days was to find some beach. And we got it! We travel by public transport to Alimos beach. It is near, it´s almost clean, it´s free and the tram and the bus can get you there. The traveling in Athens was.... a god experience! :-D It is so different of the traveling in Czech republic! They haven´t any schedule here. You have to just wait if the tram will come. Oh my God, it is so hard to patience! :-D You have to wave to  stop the bus! And it is only up to driver if he will really stop! Sea is beautiful! The water is pure!

The weather is wonderful! We have over 30°C every day. Sometimes it´s difficult to be outside and walk, because we aren´t used to this weather.

Today we were at the market in our street. There are many things that are cheaper than they are in the shops. You can save a lot of money! We bought 10 eggs, 2 peaches, 2 onions for 2 eurs! And then we bought shoes for 5 eurs.

We visited an old olympic stadium from 3th century b.c. You can see Acropolis from the top of the stadium. We were in National gardens. They are really large!

We are enjoying every day! Thanks God we can be here! I love this weather, I love this country! And I proclaim I love this style of public transport! :-))

We are almost greeks. We get up after 10 A.M., we have a breakfast in the noon and we have a lunch at 5 P.M. Vivat Greece! :-)
